I hate fakers!!! Grrr… My profile on a couple dating sites have been accused of being fake, I think because I’m too good to be true! I’m hot AND horny, just like all those phonies. But hey, I’m 35, not 22…
I can’t believe anyone would think any profile you could write would be fake, TBK … because you’re the realest of the real.
Funny, 35 is sort of my cutoff age.

Hehe, I filled in a profile for the Boy on a swingers site once and he got upset cos I put ‘average’ for penis size (which it is, I’m a scientist and take bell curves *very* seriously).
He argued that because everyone else lies, there is no scope for telling the truth. ‘Average’ is automatically read as ‘too small to bother with’.
Funny, Elle … I used to run a big online site where we ran a weekly survey. Utterly unscientific, obviously … but fun. Once, I put up a question asking users to rate their own intelligence.
Something like 80 percent said they were “above average” or better … which was probably about as likely as a similar percentage of men on a swingers’ site having porn star dicks …
The Stunning Mystery Companion, here, assumes men who claim long and thick are lying until she sees at least the photographic evidence.

I wonder what the distribution of that 80% would look like. I assume it would be skewed right as I think a genuinely smart person would be less likely to rate themselves below average than vice versa (baring self-esteem issues).
But what about the outliers at the other end? There must be one or two really dumb people who genuinely consider themselves to be smarter than half the population.
I’d agree; I think it boils down to this — that a lot of folks of “average” intelligence think they are above average … and so do a lot of people who are perhaps slightly below average intelligence.
And, of course, it is nothing but an anonymous, self-selecting web survey. If I had included “I’m a fucking idiot” as a possible choice, no doubt a lot of people would have picked it just for fun.

I always bitch about how I am sick of fake tits in porn, but I’m also sick of porn star dicks. Give me real!
