Paleolithic Porn? I Don’t Think So

Posted By jss on May 13, 2009

The New York Times today is showing a picture of ” huge, projecting breasts and sexually explicit genitalia.”

I guess it’s OK when the photo is of ivory carvings that are more than 35,000 years old.

Ancient Figurine of Voluptuous Woman Is Found

Funny ol’ Times.

For the benefit of those who don’t want to click away from Into Temptation, this gets past the editors at The Times:

But I’ll bet you can’t find a photo of a live naked human being in the paper. Ever.  As an example, they had a perfect chance to do it in 2007, for arts’ sake, when they reviewed Leonard Nimoy’s Full Body Project. They missed their chance at doing it the right way.

You've Been Tempted.

Shadowy "Into Temptation" is a usually-but-not-always safe-for-work forum about evolving social-sexual networks and how they have changed and are changing lives. It will also loosely chronicle the research, writing and publication, I hope in 2011, of a book by the same name.

The author and editor? Jeff Schult | DWM | New England | ... We've dispensed with pseudoanonymity.
