I am sure there would be quite a few people in the United States who would be upset if there was a method of female birth control that also prevents AIDS transmission — because that would mean that women could behave like sluts! — but I’m all in favor of it, of course. Whether it makes women behave like sluts or not.

South Carolina’s Attorney General, Henry McMaster, is a demagogue who wants to be governor. He has directly threatened Craigslist with criminal investigation and prosecution unless the company gets rid of its “adult services” category in South Carolina.

A few hundred thousand Facebookers have been going without virtual sex for … HOURS now, and they’re getting a little frantic. “Sexgames: High Stakes Seduction” is offline, has been since last night, and the developers have yet to issue so much as a “We’re working on it” memo to users.
The only clue I have suggests that there’s nothing wrong with the game — but Facebook may have censored it. Looking at the cached page on Google right now, I see:
“Use of application “SexGames” has been restricted.”
