Pole dancing in the News …

Yep. First up from the Village Voice:
Six of the country’s best pole dancers competed at Pole Super Star for $10 grand on October 1, by climbing, flipping over, wrapping around, and basically making love to a metal stick in front of a panel of judges. The audience chose the winner via text message during the Highline Ballroom show. Proceeds, for real, went to S.P.I.N. (Single Parents In Need).

And somehow, from there, we end up over at PoleRiders.net: “Ahh … pole dancing. It’s everywhere you want it to be.”
Coming to a suburb near you, I’m guessing.
I’m really wanting “pole dancing” to be one word, “poledancing.” I mean, samba is one word, right? OK, bad example. But still …
