Yes, I think that there are reasons why it might be useful for someone who has screwed up their life (hahaha, funny) by having too much sex to look at their problems from the viewpoint that he or she might have an addiction … because doing so might help that person get their balance, figure out what they are doing wrong.
The most times I ever had sex in a day, to the point of orgasm for myself, was seven or eight, I think. For that whole weekend … it might have been ten? Twelve? I lost count, but maybe not the same way an alcoholic might lose count of how many drinks had passed his lips.
Was she counting her orgasms? Did she think she had too many? Surely not. By Sunday night … we were pretty much sexed out. Pretty happy. Did we want to do it again? Not right away.
That’s binge sex. Nothing wrong with it, I think.
If you binge all the time, are you an addict? Maybe, I guess. But I think, more likely, so-called “sex addicts” get in trouble more for how they treat others than for how often they have or want sex.
And NOT wanting to have sex, or abstaining from sex, can cause problems just as major as swinging to the other extreme. But I guess it’s not sexy to write about.
"Into Temptation" has been a forum about evolving social-sexual networks and how they have changed and are changing lives. In other words, we talk about dating and sex.
