Censors are just coitusing with us

"You're just coitusing with me, aren't you?"
I don’t watch a lot of TV these days but I did see The Big Bang Theory a few days ago. Geeks and clever writing will stop me from surfing.
And I chortled, snorted, guffawed at Penny’s deadpan but knowing delivery of the line:
“You’re just coitusing with me, aren’t you?”
Because … I am just about positive that it would NOT have been OK to say “coitusing with me” on network TV even 10 years ago. It’s a very smart line and I wish I’d written it.
And I can imagine … hmmm … The Smothers Brothers … Or Dick Cavett … saying it, back in the day, except that back in the day, they would have gotten their mouths washed out with soap.
Today? We’re that much closer to there not being any words you can’t say on television. Somewhere, George Carlin is smiling.
