Sunday Styles, indeed. Maybe The Times should stop trying to shoehorn sexuality stories into parts of the paper and, periodically, just run a sexuality section. It would no doubt be the best-read part of the newspaper.

Playboy has published its list of the 55 most important people in sex over the past 55 years, and Shere Hite isn’t on it? Puhhlease. She belongs in the top 20, maybe the top 10. No one did more for female orgasm and masturbation than did Shere Hite in the 1970s. Practically singlehandedly, she pushed the clitoris to co-equal status with the penis. So yes, we know the brain is the most important sex organ … but Hite’s work got the blood flowing there as well.
